Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Sarah Jessica Parker and Anna Wintour took a break from London Fashion Week today to attend Alexander McQueen's memorial service.

The celebrities paid homage to the 40 year old British fashion designer, who committed suicide in February.

McQueen who began his career as an apprentice at a Savile Row tailor's Anderson & Sheppard, was one of the most respected figures in the fashion industry.

He was best known for his daring creations and my one of my favourite pieces from his collection, the skull scarf.

According to the rumours, they've split up, but that didn't stop Kanye Wests' ex, Amber Rose, turning up to London Fashion Week!

Break up or no break up, that didn't stop Amber from appearing at London Fashion Week!  The model was spotted in the front row of several shows including PPQ and Topshop and also modelled for the Body Amr fashion show.

Mulberry at New York Fashion Week 2010

Fashion label Mulberry showcased their new collection at New York Fashion Week.

UK stars, such as Kelly Osbourne, Alexa Chung and singer Florence from Florence & the Machine, came out to support the British label at the Soho House rooftop last night.

Best dressed award goes to Olivia Palermo  who posed with her favourite Mulberry bag, a georgous purple and red dress and grey shoe-boots.  I'm loving Olivia's new hairstyle, the shorter length really suits her!

Solange the Fashionista

Is it me or ever since Solange Knowles cut her hair, the singer has surprised us all with her fashion-forward style?  Who knew Solange had it in her?!

Solange was spotted in New York yesterday for Mercedes Benz Fashion Week looking fab!

I loved the black ruffled top and matching black shorts (shorts are definately my one of my favourite pieces of the season!) But its the accessories that made this outfit.  The makeup is simple but yet effective especially the  bold rouge lips.

Her bangles compliment her leopard print  clutch bag (another fave of mine!) but it is the shoes that I am in ♥ with.  Not sure on the designer but they are a striking resemblance to Alexander McQueen heels. Do you remember my fashion video on my love of McQueen's hoof style boots? Well seems like I'm not the only fan! Although I love the boots, I have always struggled to work out the best way to wear them but Solange wears them well with the shorts and blouse.

Today, she showed up to support her sister, Beyonce, who was due to walk the runway for designer, Tom Ford's new collection.

MTV VMA Awards 2010

Last night was the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) held in Los Angeles.

It was a star-studded event with everyone from Lady Gaga to Usher attending the awards.

Who remembers last year's VMA awards when Kanye West did his (in)famous interruption during Taylor Swift's award acceptance speech? Well he certainly made up for last year's antics! Kanye and Taylor joined forces and did a show-stopping performance.

Lady Gaga swooped the awards show, winning a total of NINE VMAs.  But it was her outfits that really stole the show...

But it was the "meat" dress that made headlines...I wouldn't personally but I guess that's why they call her Gaga!

Tony Blair Memoirs - A Journey - Review

Tony Blair's memoirs

Tony Blair’s highly anticipated memoirs, A Journey, has finally been released. Over 600 pages of political revelations, the book has leapt on to Amazon’s top sellers list.

So what can readers expect from the former Primer Minister’s autobiography?

The blurb reads, “the memoirs reveal in intimate detail this unique political and personal journey, providing an insight into the man, the politician and the statesman.”

I’ve seen extracts revealed by most of the national newspapers. It seems success, controversies and disappointments are the main themes throughout the book. Featuring Blair's take on his relationship with Gordon Brown, the Iraq War, his election as Labour leader in 1994, the death of Diana, Princess of Wales and the Northern Ireland peace talks, this indeed will make an interesting read.

Though will the book outsell Margaret Thatcher’s, The Path to Power? It sold an estimated half-a-million copies making it the highest selling British political memoir ever. Time will tell!

Blair will be signing copies of his autobiography at Waterstone’s Picadilly branch on 8th September at 12:30. Will you be there??

Jimmy Choo & Uggs create Chuggs!

What do you get when you mix two of the world's most successful footwear brands Jimmy Choo and Ugg?
