Blackheath Farmers' Market Review

Farmers' Market

Every Sunday after church, I visit the Farmer's Market in Blackheath.

It has been established for many years and apparently everyone knows the farmers by name. Although I think I'll just still to a polite "hello" and smile before I am on first name bases with the farmers!

The delicious bakery at the farmers' market today!

There is a wide range of farm produce on offer, fresh fish, meat, plants, herbs, vegetables, fruit, sweets, hot food like burgers and hot dogs and much more.  The selection of cheeses is incredible and there are so many different breads on display. My favourite has to be the pastries and cakes which always seem to satisfy my sweet tooth!

Brownies - all mine!

The brownies always taste so good and always reasonably priced with generous servings too. The chocolate fudge brownies above cost £1.50 each. You couldn't be more generous than that! I have been meaning to try the coffee and walnut cake so will purchase a slice of that the next time I visit the market.

 Cakes galore!

Blackheath Farmers' market takes place every Sunday in Blackheath railway station car park from 10am - 2pm.  If you're in the area, it is well worth a visit!
