Outfit of the day - Babymoon

Dress - ASOS
Bag - H&M
Necklace - Topshop
Boots - New Look

This weekend my husband and I went away for our babymoon - you can read all about our stay at The Rosewood Hotel here.

As I approach the end of my pregnancy with bump growing bigger and wider every day, it is getting more and more difficult to dress my bump.

I thought I was never going to find the perfect outfit for our special occasion, until I came across this midi dress from ASOS. Not only is it super comfortable but it's lightweight too, with a soft touch slinky fabric. I thought the dress in Black worked well for evening wear as it is the most flattering.

As well as the perfect length on me, sitting just below the knee, I loved the ruched sides on the dress that stretch for that extra comfort. Another great maternity buy from ASOS!

An Afternoon Tea Baby Shower

My babyshower celebrations

Last weekend, my mum and sisters hosted my babyshower where we celebrated the soon to be arrival of baby DoYouNoah! It was a wonderful day spent with my family and closest friends. The theme of my babyshower was "afternoon tea" so there was an abundance of cakes, sandwiches and cupcakes as well as lots of fun games too!

My afternoon tea themed baby shower

I was on the hunt for an outfit for my babyshower and with only a few weeks to go, I managed to find the perfect dress. Although it wasn't a maternity dress it was just what I was looking for; a simple grey maxi dress from ASOS tall range with a wrap front and cut a way slides. I teamed with a gold chain head band also from ASOS too.

I was so pleased with the baby shower cakes that were specially made by the very talented cake maker Claire Owen. They looked absolutely beautiful and were so delicious too, all my guests loved them!

A huge thanks to my mum and sisters who did a fabulous job of organising my baby shower plus a big thanks to all my friends for their adorable gifts and to everyone for making the day such a joyous occasion.

I was so delighted with the cakes, cupcakes, sandwiches and photography I thought I would share with you the list of my suppliers for those planning a baby shower in the future:

Easter Break in Provence & Maternity Swimwear

Easter break in Provence

The first day back from Easter holidays is always a bit glum, especially when you've spent the last two weeks in the sunny South of France and return to cold and wet London.

It was lovely to get away, visit family, relax beside the pool and of course indulge in lots of easter eggs too!

With temperatures reaching up to 22 degrees in Provence, it was time to update my spring wardrobe but this time I was on the hunt for maternity wear. I needed the perfect swimsuit that was both stylish and would compliment by bump and I came across this fab maternity swimsuit from ASOS by Mama.Licious.

Maternity shorts - Old Navy
Hat - New Look

Who says swimwear has to be boring when you're pregnant? Not me! I loved this playful black and white geo print which is super flattering for mums-to-be. Plus most importantly, it's very comfortable too, with an empire line tie and stylish cut out back.

If you're after more styles in different colours, then I'd recommend checking out the ASOS maternity collection - they have a wide range of maternity swimwear that's both stylish and comfortable and purse friendly too!

OOTD: how to wear a jumpsuit in the office

Jumpsuit - Mango
Loafers - Primark

If you're a fan of jumpsuits like me then i'm sure you've thought about wearing one to work, but finding a jumpsuit that looks both stylish and appropriate for the office is a struggle.  For some time, jumpsuits were worn just on summer holiday or a night out and just the thought of wearing one to work would be a big style no no.

Recently the struggle has become a lot easier and more and more high street retailers are stocking stylish jumpsuits, smart enough to wear to work.

I love this chic jumpsuit from Mango. Monochrome is a good choice for work and not too over the top plus the crossed v-neck and long sleeves smarten it up too. It doesn't have a belt but at the back, an elastic waist, and at the front is a concealed button, hook and zip fastening.  It breaks it up, making it super flattering for your figure.

You can pick up a jumpsuit similar from Mango online

I teamed my jumpsuit with these fringed loafers from Primark and if you want to you could dress it up for the evening with a pair of heels too.

Here are some more stylish jumpsuits I've picked out you can wear to work and won't make you look like an auto mechanic:

The 1st September was officially announced as Autumn in the UK so now it's time to bring out the Autumnal wardrobe!

I teamed my duster coat with ASOS wrap blouse and this beautiful Oasis torq and leaf collar necklace.

What are your favourite trends to wear this Autumn?

Outfit of the day - Summer Wedding

Dress - ASOS
Bag - Zara
Shoes - New Look

I spent the weekend up in the alps for a friend's wedding in Austria. The weather was scorching hot so I chose this pretty floral cream dress teamed with nude strappy heels.

I loved the deep V-back detail on the dress, it was both flattering and stylish and the perfect dress for the occasion!

Shirt - H&M
Skirt - H&M
Bag - Zara
Shoes - New Look

Now that Summer has arrived in London I can finally say goodbye knits and jumpers and hello lighter looser clothing!  But how do you dress in the office with scorching hot weather? Adjusting your workwear wardrobe to

Dressing for the office during the summer is all about the right fabrics and white shirts are so simple and versatile - they go with everything! I wore this short sleeved classic white skirt and teamed with a jacquard pink skirt. If you're not a fan of skirts for the office, then go for foral print cropped trousers as another smarter alternative.

Outfit of the day - Royal Ascot 2015

A few of my accessories for Royal Ascot 2015

This weekend I attended Royal Ascot, the most stylish sporting event, along with thousands of other spectators.

Royal Ascot is a major fashion event in it's own right, you must dress to impress so there were countless of hats, frocks and fascinators to be seen!
Shoes - M&S
Fascinator - Amazon

I wore a sleeveless floral dress from Long Tall Sally. I love the tiered design on this dress it's the perfect figure flattering cut and the dress was the ideal length for my height too. I teamed with M&S nude stiletto caged sandals and caged sandals and matching colour fascinator from Amazon.

It was such a lovely day and a great reason to dress up, see all the weird and wonderful hats and dresses and enjoy all the horse races; a day out at Ascot is a lot of fun. I'm already looking forward to planning another fab outfit for next year!

Outfit of the Day - Honeymoon Special!

Finally packed and ready to go on my honeymoon!

Holiday packing can be a total nightmare. There are so many things to consider, buying the right sized case and not going over your limit, fold, roll or bundle your clothing items to all fit into your luggage, keeping your luggage safe and secure etc etc. But most importantly WHAT TO WEAR FOR EACH DAY?!?

That was my biggest dilemma, especially as my honeymoon was divided into three separate journeys - sightseeing in a Capetown (Summer wardrobe essentials, including evening wear), Garden Route driving (casual/comfortable clothes) and safari (practical shoes and clothes).

In the end I chose three outfits for each day which was more than enough here are a few:

Maxi Dress - New Look(available in regular and tall lengths)

Maxi Dress - New Look (available in regular and tall lengths)
Bag - Primark

Blazer - River Island
Dress - River Island

Blouse - Primark
Skirt - Zara

 Dress - Forever21
Leggings - New Look
Hairband - Primark
Sandals - New Look

The hardest choice was deciding what to wear on Safari - it's not everyday you go searching for wild animals in the bush! After taking advice from my sister who had done a safari holiday she urged me to pack linen/khaki trousers, boots, a hat and for the morning drives a jacket for when it the temperature drops and becomes a lot colder.

Oufit of the day - F&F Chain Detail Dress

Bag - Primark
Watch - River Island
Earrings - H&M

I have been on the lookout for a dress with chain detail for a while but couldn't quite find the right one. A few weeks ago I spotted this dress by Florence & Fred on the Clothing at Tesco website in blue but it was the red* version that really caught my eye.

I'm a big fan of tunic style dresses and the gold chain across the neck line looks great. The dress is a lovely floaty chiffon material so would keep you cool on a warm summer's day.

 Round neck chain collar

But it's the cross over cut out back that really makes the dress. I wore it with a high bun so I could show it off - it would be a shame not to!

Loving the cross over/cut out back!

Maxi dress - outfit of the day

Maxi dress - Matalan

The temperature in Provence was so hot! We were lucky to have a pool where we stayed to cool down, however you can't be in a bikini or swimming costume all the time. Luckily I had a choice of maxi dresses to wear,my favourite was this one from Matalan.

I love the exposed back on this maxi dress!

The pattern was a lovely white, brown, green and black and I loved the exposed back, an absolute must for hot temperatures as anything too clingy is just too warm.

Here are some of my other summer favourites from Matalan:

What is your favourite dress of this summer so far?
