If you didn't already know, I am a HUGE fan of all things Hello Kitty. So you can imagine my delight when I spotted Hayden Panettierein a georgous Hello Kitty bikini.

I love the colours red and white and think it really suits her. I tried looking for a Hello Kitty bikini but it seems the only genuine clothing is only available in kidswear *uber sad face*

Though I did find a website that sells some really cute Hello Kitty items like phone accessories, clothing, stationery etc.

The Danger of Hair Extensions - Naomi Campbell

Naomi Campbell reveals signs of hair loss

It's enough to put any woman off extensions for life. Naomi Campbell, who was at a fashion shoot for designer Dennis Basso, was spotted in New York yesterday with bald patch on her head.

It looks like years of wearing extensions and weaves for photo-shoots has caused the serious hair loss.

There are so many types of extensions these days. You can weave threads to hair, hair clip ins or the new method involves glue-heating the extensions onto natural hair.

I am no hair expert but glue heating is a very extreme method of creating long, locks. Is it really worth it?

Chris Rock has a new film out, Good Hair. (see trailer below) The documentary explores the wonders of Black hairstyles. Though he doesn't mention anything about the risks of excessive weaving or extensions. Known as traction alopecia, it is a serious issue and it's a shame it wasn't explored further.

Perhaps, this image of Naomi Campbell, one of the world's most recognisable and successful models, will highlight the danger of hair extensions to the world.

Skinny Role Models:Is this Modern Day Beauty?

When I saw this picture of Beverly Hills star AnnaLynne McCord and her sister, model, Angel on holiday I felt a mixture of emotions, shock, sadness and disappointment. Does this look equate to modern day beauty? Because to me, this is anything but beauty.

The sisters both look unhealthy, their legs painfully skinny and their ribs clearly visible in the bikinis. Is this what we call beautiful? This ladies, is not a good look for any woman young, middle aged or mature.

I can't help but feel sorry for these girls. For the time that AnnaLynne has been in the public eye, she has faced heavy scrutiny over her body being labelled by the press as "too thin". She claims she has never needed to diet and has admitted she is "naturally slim" (where have I heard that one before?!) but judging by these images, this does not look "natural" by any means.

The pressure that women face in today's society is immense. We have to look young (permanently), stay slim, have successful careers, buy our own home, get married oh and if there's time have a couple of kids to tick off the long list of accomplishments. And men wonder why women are hormonal..smh.

The media, should be utterly ashamed and take full responsibility for this poor representation of women. The image of the "perfect" woman is constantly being contradicted. Fat woman are ridiculed in weekly gossip/tabloid magazines, television, blogs etc yet the following week, skinny women are criticised for being too slim. Damned if you do, damned if you don't - as a woman you just can't win. So where does that leave us? In a constant battle with our self-image that's where. How depressing...!

I could go on and on about my views on women and how they are represented in the media (my thesis on this was 15,000 + words!) but instead, I thought I'd share with you my brief fustrations on the issue as what I really wanted was to hear from you...

I have a crazy obbession with all things nails so whilst everyone was commenting on who was wearing what on the women's tennis court this afternoon, I was too busy admiring Serena William's nail art.

Serena was sporting georgous diamond nails with an "S" embellished on her little finger - how cute is that?!

Not to mention the shoes! *swoons..yes swoons!* I can't wait to see what bargains I'll be picking up!

Topshop is being verryyyyyyyyyy secretive about the dates of their Summer sale - so much so that they are not revealing it until the very last minute! *sobs* But a little birdy told me that it will start at the end of July. Perfect timing for payday..and for everyone's Summer holidays yay!

The Perfect Baby Gift

What's the perfect gift to give a new mum? Baby clothes of course!

One of my best friends recently gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. You can imagine how many pink baby clothes she has received. Which is why I thought I would give her something a bit different...

I saw the most beautiful outfit on the White Company online. Although it's designed with a boy in mind, the nautical baby gro, shoes and top are just too cute to be limited to boyswear only!

The gift came in lovely packaging too...

Both Mummy and Daddy were equally very pleased with it - so glad they liked it! Would definately recommend the the White Company store for unique and VERY on-trend baby outfits!

I always try and make the most of the Summer days in good old Blighty! I love the nautical look and this top, with the gold embroidered detail, attracted me the most. Roger Milla in Coca Cola Advert

Only four days until the World Cup kicks off and everyone is going football crazy including me!

Have you ever wondered who started the celebration goal dance? No, not Peter Crouch! It was none other than football legend, Roger Milla, the former Cameroonian striker.

He was one of the first African strikers to become an international star. But what he is most famous for is his celebration dance around the corner post each time he scored a goal. It has become the most popular goal celebration ever since with players all around the world adopting their own signature dances.

Coca Cola has released this amazing advert paid honour to Roger Milla. It's so nice to see the player being honoured for his amazing football skills, talent and most importantly dancing!

Karate Kid Trailer

Karate Kid is one of my favourite films EVER. So when I heard Hollywood was remaking it I wasn't much pleased.

Then I watched the trailer and once I saw Will Smith's son, Jaden in action I soon changed my mind! Jackie Chan also features and plays his mentor in the film.

Anyone who knows me, knows I am a HUGE fan of Will Smith so maybe I'm a little biased. Not only is Jaden a cutie (those ears awwwww!) he is also a really good actor too.
