Me and Trendy Londoner's organiser, Carina

I went to Trendy Londoner's very first event, Utterly Elegant, at the Victoria and Albert museum a late night opening of films, talks, workshops and exhibitions.  If you love quintessential British elegance you would have loved this event!

Pattern cutting workshop with Deborah Milner, former senior pattern cutter for Alexander McQueen!

There were fashion workshops with celebrity stylist Grace Woodward, exhibitions of British designs form 1948-2012, fashion films Diana Vreeland, The Eye has to travel and music perfermances with the Shellac Sisters showcasing retro glamour and 1920s wind-up gramaphones  which got everyone in the group dancing.

But my favourite was the fashion workshops - I created my own elegant headpiece with renowned milliner to the stars such as Kiera Knightly and Britney Spears, Noel Stewart,  and former senior pattern cutter for Alexander McQueen, Deborah Milner, shared her top tips on how to create beautiful fashion masterpieces.

It was such a fun night and it was lovely to meet new people who shared the same interests of fashion! I'm really looking forward to the next events they have planned. To register and find out more about Trendy Londoners visit their website here.
