Kate Middleton Wears Highstreet!

Kate shopping on Kings Road for high street clothes!

As everyone knows, I am the biggest champion of high street fashion and there is nothing I love more than to see celebrities proudly showing off their high street bargains. But what about royalty wearing high street? Have you ever seen royalty dressed in high street clothing? Does one even consider high street clothing when one can choose whatever outfit they desire?!

Well the answer is YES as none other than the Duchess of Cambridge stepped out in a Zara outfit for her first public appearance after royal wedding!  Kate chose the £49.99 Zara cornflower blue dress, £129.99 black LK Bennett patent pumps and a simple black jacket. Pretty, cute but yet totally suitable for the occasion, the perfect combination that many often get sooooooooooo wrong.

Kate's first public appearance and she wears Zara! Go Kate!

Her sister, Pippa also opted for high street attire and wore a classic Zara royal blue double breasted blazer costing on £69.99, white jeans, a Bristol bag £149 from Modalu and cream leather Riva balled pumps from Tory Burch priced at £120.

Kate's sister Pippa chooses Zara too!

I love the fact that Kate and her sister Pippa  haven't shunned the high street... yet!  Days before her wedding, Kate went shopping on the popular, Kings Road, and picked up summer dresses at another of my favourite stores Warehouse

The summer dresses Kate bought from Warehouse

Shopping at high street stores just like any other young woman!  More proof to the reports that Kate really is just as down to earth as she appears.

I hope to see Kate championing more high street outfits because as we all know, the high street rules! Perhaps she can encourage people who turn their noses at the high street and label obsessed fashion victims to try high street fashion too. If high street fashion is good enough for Princess Kate, then they are certainly good enough for me!
