Gamu's first appearance at MOBO Awards!

Gamu arriving on the red carpet at this year's MOBOs

Since the media released details of ex-factor reject Gamu's visa troubles, she has been in hididng.  But with all the negative publicity, it didn't stop Gamu turning up to the 2010 MOBOs tonight.

Gamu was a favourite of the public until it was revealed that the aspiring singer from Scotland faces deportation after the visa application made by her mother was turned down.

Gamu, from Zimbabwe arrived in Britain as a young girl with her mother and two brothers.  She has claimed that she will face a firing squad is she is forced to return to the country under Robert Mugabe's regime.

MTV VMA Awards 2010

Last night was the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) held in Los Angeles.

It was a star-studded event with everyone from Lady Gaga to Usher attending the awards.

Who remembers last year's VMA awards when Kanye West did his (in)famous interruption during Taylor Swift's award acceptance speech? Well he certainly made up for last year's antics! Kanye and Taylor joined forces and did a show-stopping performance.

Lady Gaga swooped the awards show, winning a total of NINE VMAs.  But it was her outfits that really stole the show...

Lady G wore Alexander McQueen and also paid tribute to the late British designer

Out of all her outfits, this Georgio Armani leather number was my favourite

But it was the "meat" dress that made headlines...I wouldn't personally but I guess that's why they call her Gaga!

I loved Katy Perry's Marchesa dress and her Jimmy Choo shoes.. ♥ them!

Florence Welch wore a glittery gold Givency dress..quirky but it works!

Rosario Dawson (l) looking stunning in blue leather number and Ciara rocked a georgous black and white Givency dress - fierce!

Audrina wore a cute Issac Mizrahi dress but why does she look so skinny?! Stephanie (l) wore a Nicole Miller maxi dress and Lo (r) wore a gold Gabriela Cadena mini.

Usher and his protege, Justin Beiber (r)

Rihanna and Katy Perry puckering up to Justin Beiber

Look at Katy Perry's nails - Russell painted on them how sweet!

The BRITS 2010

What a night the BRITS were! Broadcast live on ITV, we all knew there was going to be some kind of drama, drunkard outburst and dodgy wardrobe malfunctions on the night.

Douchebag of the night went to Liam Gallagher.  When accepting his award for "Best Album of 30 years" he told the crowd, "Let's go and take Class A drugs"....and then threw the mircrophone into the stage.  Right...ok Liam!

Liam accepting his award on stage..twat

Thankfully host of the night, Peter Kay, was there to save the day describing him as, "What a knobhead" as soon as he left the stage! :-)  When Liam found out, he did what any man who has been insulted with do, he took it to the streets of...Twitter...yep - he took it there..be scared Peter Kay!

"Hard man" Liam's angry rant on Twitter to Peter Kay

But it was Lady Gaga stole the show, winning THREE awards!  The triple winner dedicated one of her awards to the late Alexander McQueen.

J-Lo Falls Flat on her...ASS at American Music Awards

It's been a while since I last saw J-Lo perform live - which might explain why she landed on her ass during her performance last night at the AMA's.

J-lo attempting the tricky dance move...

It was a daring move, I couldn't have done it! Then again, I'm not a singer/dancer/performer like J-Lo is. But even if I was, it was one of those dance manoeuvres that no matter how many times you practise, sometimes, it goes wrong.

The audience gasped when she lost her balance on the human pyramid - but like a true perfomer she got straight back up again and carried on.

J-lo taking a tumble :-(

What can you say? She's got the fighting spirit, can't keep a girl down, that ole "Jenny from the block" :-)

Anyhoo let's take a look at who wore what and the winners on the night...

Grammys 2009 Results!

2009 Grammys were dominated by the UK artists - and about time too! The 51st Annual Grammy's awarded Adele, Coldplay AND Estelle with awards - you know how we do! Though heavily pregnant, M.I.A rocked the stage in a polka dot designed by Henry Holland, performing hit single "Swagga Like Us" with T.I, Mr. West and Lil Wayne. The best performance of the night by far. The sheer dress designed with polka dots covering the stomach area, received critcism from bloggers, calling it "daring", "outrageous" and some went as far to call it "sheer madness". Holland told the Independent, "I was a bit worried about what the patch was going to cover with the belly involved, but she wore a little skirt with it. We are going through all the blogs and looking at all the comments people put about the dress. It's quite amusing."
M.I.A in Henry Holland dress
Exactly WHAT was the problem with the dress??? I thought it was fine considering it's one of the biggest musical events of the year, the woman was about to pop any moment and she wants to wear an outfit that she can perform in, yet still look sexy AND feel comfortable ALL AT THE SAME TIME. G.O.S.H! You don't have to look like an unfashionable frump just because you're pregnant. Some bloggers have WAY too much time on their hands! ;-) It's a shame that the whole C.Breezy/Rhi Rhi drama has shadowed (in my opinion) the most star-studded musical event of the year. But lets not take away the fact that there were many well deserved winners on the night. See below for the full list!
