Uh-Oh Surprise Eviction!

News just in - Michelle Heaton has been voted off in a surprise eviction.

The former Liberty X singer is the fourth contestant to be voted off Celeb BB. Oh dear, bet she thought she was at least going to be in the final three..in her dreams! I think her tears and tantrums soon got on the viewers nerves - plus her whingeing about Coolio's taunts that her and fellow contestant Ben (former A1 boyband singer) had a "thing" was really beginning to drag on. Will be interesting to see who the winner is - can the remaining housemates really put up with Coolio's behaviour much longer?!?!

From Segregation to Inauguration...

President and First Lady at We Are One Concert

It's still only the eve of Obama's inauguration but already the press are out in packs to mark this event in history. Police are expected in full force as enormous crowds are expected tomorrow to mark Obama's official day of turning President of United States. :-) The historic event started with the "We Are One" concert at Washington DC which included performances by U2, Jon Bon Jovi, Usher, Beyonce, Stevie Wonder, Mary J Blige, Sheryl Crow, Shakira and many more. And it wasn't just music. Special readings were performed by Jamie Foxx, Jack Black, Steve Carrell, Tom Hanks and Denzel Washington and others. See below for pics!

A big thanks goes out to the guy I met in New York who customised my kicks for me! I have no idea what his name was/or the tag he went by but all I know he sets up his stall outside Footlocker on Madison Square Gardens. He normally customises hats but being me I cheekily asked if he could do trainers too...and he agreed!!! For $10 its a bargain really...! :-) PS And yep thats Malorie Blackman's fourth book from the "Noughts & Crosses" series peeping outta the background! Japanese Dancehall just doesn't exsist..or does it?? I thought the two words together are nothing but an oxymoron - until I found this clip on youtube... Lady Gaga!

If you don't already know get to know! Lady G outside London's Capital 95.8FM

You may think that Lady Gaga is new on the scene but she has been around longer than you know. Also known as Stefani Joanna Germanotta, she was originally signed to Def Jam when she was nineteen years old but later signed to Interscope in January 2008. Her music is electronica genre, kinda 80's dance pop. What is making her so popular is her colourful, flamboyant outfits. She has definately created her own edgy look straight outta the 80's glam style. I wouldn't be surprised if she cites Jem & the Hollograms (if you don't know get to friggin know!) as one of her style influences (don't cat us!). A lot of bloggers such as Perez have noticed that Christina Aguilera has appeared on the MTV Video Music Awards and other appearances and photoshoots mimicking her unique look. However Lady G has remained very Lady like and has refused to comment when asked whether she thinks Christina is copying her style. We like her modesty!

New York City

The UK sales have been great but where is the next best place to spend all that Xmas money, and in my case, BIRTHDAY money??

NEW YORK CITY BABY!!!

I did try my very best not to go crazy and hit the shops as both the Christmas and January sales have been fab fab fab this year - that I can't deny. Well, that's one good thing to come out of this economic crisis! As much as I LOVE the yellow cabs in New York, you can't go all the way to the city and not hop on the subway! And when a girl's gotta shop..well what can I say - don't stop me now, i'm having such a good time, i'm having a ball...!

And when I say the food was good..the food was GOOD!

Think I was the only one who wanted Chinese food-just because of the packaging-love those cardboard boxes straight outta Friends!

Forget Take2 when you can have proper SOUL food (and coke!)

And you know I had to check out what the clubs were like..had to see how those Yanks like to party...well see for yourself!

Aint No Excuse..

There is NO excuse for my lack of posts..I was going to come out with a million reasons like: "I was just too busy over Christmas" or "I've had no time to blog since I've just come back from New York" And some random other excuses. But truth be told, although all the above was true, the REAL reason?
